If Pebble Hills was feeling good fresh off their 11-2 takedown of Franklin last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coronado Thunderbirds on Friday. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Pebble Hills' record is now 15-12. As for Coronado, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-9.

Coincidentally, Pebble Hills and Coronado will both be playing Montwood the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Rams at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Thunderbirds will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
