Baseball Recap: North Pitt Takes a Loss

North Pitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

North Pitt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quintaris Price, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Price has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

North Pitt's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for SouthWest Edgecombe, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

While North Pitt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
