Basketball Game Preview: St. Clairsville Red Devils vs. Beaver Local Beavers

The St. Clairsville Red Devils will head out to face off against the Beaver Local Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Clairsville is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, St. Clairsville ended up a good deal behind Indian Valley and lost 71-53.

Beaver Local has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-57 heartbreaker at the hands of East Liverpool. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Beavers still had to take the loss.

St. Clairsville's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Beaver Local, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

St. Clairsville came up short against Beaver Local in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 61-57. Can St. Clairsville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
