Centennial has gone 8-2 against Corona recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Huskies will venture away from home to square off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Centennial came up short against Roosevelt and fell 16-13. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Corona made easy work of West Valley on Tuesday and carried off a 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Corona's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 11-15.

Centennial might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Corona in their previous matchup on April 10th. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
