Bromfield had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Wednesday. They skirted past the Maynard Tigers 4-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 back in April.

Bromfield pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Maynard, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

Bromfield and Maynard should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Trojans will challenge Murdock at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (79 vs. 306). Meanwhile, Maynard (ranked 108th) will meet Assabet Valley RVT (ranked 284th) at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
