L.W. Higgins put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Jena Giants by a score of 11-6. For the Hurricanes, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 victory the Giants walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

L.W. Higgins' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Jena, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, L.W. Higgins will be playing in front of their home fans against Fisher at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. L.W. Higgins knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Fisher likes a good challenge. As for Jena, they will be taking part in a tournament against A.J. Ellender at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
