Softball Recap: Biglerville Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Biglerville was the 6-3 winner over James Buchanan when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Canners fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The contest marked the Canners' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Paige Slaybaugh made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Miller, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Biglerville's loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2. As for James Buchanan, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Biglerville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-2 victory against Hanover on the 9th. James Buchanan has also already played their next game (against Big Spring), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
