Soccer Game Preview: Wilmington vs. Bishop McNamara

Wilmington hasn't had much luck against Bishop McNamara recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Wildcats will square off against the Fightin' Irish at 3:00 p.m. Wilmington has given up an average of 4.2 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wilmington lost 6-1 to Ottawa on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Bishop McNamara came up short against Marian Central Catholic last Tuesday and fell 3-1. Bishop McNamara have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Ella Langellier, who's now up to nine this season.

Bishop McNamara's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Wilmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Wilmington suffered a grim 8-1 defeat to Bishop McNamara when the teams last played back in April. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Wildcats were down 4-1.
