Basketball Recap: Monday's Win Is South Hardin's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

South Hardin hadn't done well against Roland-Story recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The South Hardin Tigers walked away with a 55-45 victory over the Roland-Story Norsemen. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 71-57 loss the last time these two teams met.

South Hardin is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points over those games. As for Roland-Story, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Cougars on Thursday. Northwest Webster will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something South Hardin surely won't give up without a fight. Roland-Story does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
