Softball Recap: Splendora Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Splendora's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the West Fork Gators get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Splendora's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for West Fork, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Splendora will face off against rival Dayton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Fork is set to challenge their familiar foe Kingwood Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
