Softball Recap: Ferndale Comes Up Short

Ferndale lost against Lake Stevens back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ferndale Golden Eagles came up short against the Lake Stevens Vikings, falling 14-3. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaelin Blakley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Ferndale's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lake Stevens, the win snapped their losing streak at five games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-2 record.

Coming up, Ferndale will host Blaine at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Stevens, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Meadowdale at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
