Volleyball Game Preview: Okeechobee Brahmans vs. John Carroll Catholic Rams

For the first time this season, Okeechobee will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will host the John Carroll Catholic Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Okeechobee didn't have quite enough to beat Somerset College Prep Academy and fell 3-2.

Okeechobee actually scored more points across those five sets (103-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 19-25, 25-20, 15-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, John Carroll Catholic had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sharks.

While John Carroll Catholic might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Sebastian River scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-19, 25-23.

John Carroll Catholic's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Okeechobee, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
