Fort Mill has gone 9-1 against Northwestern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to challenge the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Fort Mill has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 21.

Fort Mill lost 8-1 to Cuthbertson on Wednesday.

Fort Mill saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Rosario, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Meanwhile, Northwestern can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Everything went their way against South Pointe as they made off with a 15-0 victory. The game marked the Trojans' most dominant win of the season.

Abby Williams was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Northwestern let Lyla Seibert and Aubrey Sarna run wild. Seibert scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1, while Sarna scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Seibert has posted since back in April of 2024. Macy Monczynski also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Northwestern always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Fort Mill's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Northwestern, their record is now 4-10.

Fort Mill skirted past Northwestern 8-7 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
