Lowndes Academy won the last time they faced Valiant Cross Academy and Jeremy Hardy Jr did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rebels really took it to the Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-6 victory thanks in part to Hardy Jr, who rushed for 139 yards and three scores on only five carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 139 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Lowndes Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Valiant Cross Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowndes Academy will face off against Morgan Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valiant Cross Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakeside School at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
