After a string of five wins, Lincoln-Sudbury's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Needham Rockets. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Needham's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eleanore Alley, who had ten digs. That's the most digs Alley has posted over her last six matchups.

Lincoln-Sudbury's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Needham, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Lincoln-Sudbury has already played their next contest (against Acton-Boxborough), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Needham, they will square off against Framingham at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
