Softball Recap: Peck Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Peck's offense. They came up short against the Armada Tigers on Friday, falling 18-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Peck saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Collins, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Peck's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Armada, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.

Coming up, Peck will head out on the road to challenge All Saints Central at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Armada, they will be playing at home against Fraser at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ramblers have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
