Volleyball Recap: Washington Gets the Win

Washington's tournament run continued when they took on Madison Highland Prep on Saturday. Washington walked away with a 2-0 victory over Madison Highland Prep.

Miguel Gutierrez Alvarez paced Washington's offense, picking up six kills. Gutierrez Alvarez got some help from Muzzammil San and his seven assists. Sebastian Slowinski controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Madison Highland Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will challenge Desert Edge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison Highland Prep, they will face off against Scottsdale Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
