Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Olmsted). They never let the Valley Forge Patriots get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what North Olmsted needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Their offense was hitting Valley Forge from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal.

North Olmsted's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9-3. As for Valley Forge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-13.

Looking ahead, North Olmsted will square off against Cleveland Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Valley Forge, they will challenge Lutheran West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lutheran West will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Valley Forge surely won't give up without a fight.
