Volleyball Recap: Wahpeton Comes Up Short

Wahpeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maple River Eagles.

Wahpeton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Maple River, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-19-2.

Coincidentally, Wahpeton and Maple River will both be playing Cavalier the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Tornadoes at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 10:50 a.m.
