Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Mccarthy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Archbishop McCarthy not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 7, 2024. They put the hurt on the American Heritage Patriots with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Mavericks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Archbishop McCarthy never let American Heritage on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-16, 25-22.

Nick Castillo paced Archbishop McCarthy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Castillo got some help from Stephen Blakely and his 17 assists. Castillo was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.
