The Phoenix Spartans suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the victim of a tough 47-27 loss at the hands of Chalmette. Phoenix just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

Phoenix lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jamiya Addison, who scored nine points.

Phoenix's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Chalmette, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.
