Newton South is a perfect 7-0 against Boston Latin since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will take on the Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

It was a proper cat-fight when Newton South duked it out with Newton North on Friday. The Lions took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Boston Latin lost 34-14 to Boston Latin Academy on Friday.

Boston Latin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Newton South, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Newton South against Boston Latin in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, as the team secured a 35-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
