The Cleveland Storm are taking a road trip to take on the Piedra Vista Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cleveland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season.

Cleveland is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Farmington, who was ranked sixth at the time (Cleveland was ranked 18th). Cleveland took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Farmington on Tuesday. The Storm were down 46-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Savannah Madueno, who posted six points. Erin Winters was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Piedra Vista duked it out with Cibola on Tuesday. Piedra Vista managed a 57-53 win over Cibola.

Piedra Vista's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Cleveland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Cleveland against Piedra Vista in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the team secured an 85-56 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Piedra Vista's Tyra Holyan, who went 8-for-15 on her way to 23 points and five rebounds.
