Volleyball Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bloomington on Tuesday, Arlington came back down to earth. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the JW North Huskies on Thursday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 21-25, 25-7.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for JW North, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Arlington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against La Quinta on the 16th. As for JW North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Coachella Valley on the 16th.
