Baseball Recap: Crothersville Tigers vs. Waldron Mohawks
Crothersville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Waldron Mohawks, falling 21-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
Josh Reynolds made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 1-for-2.
Crothersville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Waldron, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
Coming up, Crothersville will be playing at home against Purdue Broad Ripple at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waldron, they will venture away from home to square off against Southwestern at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Mohawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
