Football Game Preview: Homestead Mustangs vs. Mills Vikings + How To Watch

The Homestead Mustangs will challenge the Mills Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mills took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Homestead, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Homestead took their contest with ease, bagging a 38-7 win over Cupertino. The Mustangs' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Meanwhile, Mills lost to Monta Vista on the road by a 35-21 margin on Friday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Homestead will need to focus on slowing down Kosta Jada, one of several Mills players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 109 receiving yards and two scores. Another player making a difference was Brian Lourenco, who threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns.

Homestead's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2. As for Mills, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Homestead beat Mills 34-22 in their previous meeting back in November of 2019. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
