Volleyball Recap: Abernathy Comes Up Short

Abernathy lost against Idalou back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Antelopes came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-13.

Abernathy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Idalou, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abernathy will take on Loop at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Idalou, they will welcome Denver City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
