Softball Recap: Vidalia Vikings vs. Rayville Hornets

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Vidalia brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Rayville Hornets a 20-0 shutout on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Kinsley LeBlanc was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
