Basketball Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Lovington Wildcats

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Valley had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They secured a 52-48 W over the Lovington Wildcats. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carter Monroe led the charge by dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.
