Volleyball Recap: Pecos Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Pecos faced off against Raton on Saturday. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-10, 25-17.

Pecos' loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Raton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pecos is set to face off against their familiar foe Tucumcari at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Raton will challenge rival Estancia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
