After flying high against Ball last Friday, West Brook came back down to earth. The Bruins fell 32-21 to the Barbers Hill Eagles on Friday. The Bruins were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Barbers Hill's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tripp Davis, who picked up 217 receiving yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 32 yards. Davis really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 85 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Brady Barrier, who threw for 306 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.6 yards per attempt.

West Brook has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Barbers Hill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

West Brook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Barbers Hill, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Waltrip at 1:00 p.m. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 959 yards in their previous games.
