Meanwhile, Waccamaw's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Manning.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Dutch Kerns, who scored 12 points along with two steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrese Haynes, who scored ten points along with four steals.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Waccamaw, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Georgetown strolled past Waccamaw in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a score of 62-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Georgetown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
