Basketball Recap: Noah Lorick's Big Game Can't Quite Lead American Leadership Academy over Fox Creek

American Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Fox Creek Predators, falling 67-41. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while the Predators are ranked 40th).

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Lorick, who posted ten points. Lorick continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Braxton Redding, who put up eight points.

Fox Creek can attribute much of their success to Gavin Baskett, who had 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chorsheak White, who posted 12 points.

American Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Fox Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

American Leadership Academy and Varsity Opponent will round out the year against one another at on December 27th. As for Fox Creek, they will head out on the road to square off against Aiken at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Aiken is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.6 points per game this season.
