Basketball Game Preview: West Valley Rams vs. Davis Pirates

West Valley has won five straight games at home, while Davis has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The West Valley Rams will welcome the Davis Pirates at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in West Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matchups.

On Friday, West Valley strolled past Moses Lake with points to spare, taking the game 74-56. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Mavericks are ranked 157th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything went Davis' way against Eastmont on Friday as Davis made off with a 73-47 victory.

West Valley is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Davis, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.
