After losing to Lake Stevens the last time they met, Bothell decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Vikings on Monday.
The team relied heavily on Cam Wallace, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braeden Fischer, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
The win got Bothell back to even at 1-1.
