Volleyball Recap: CES Academy Takes a Loss

CES Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Appling Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Monday.

Appling Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Annie Hulett, who had 15 aces. Hulett has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

CES Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Appling Christian Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

CES Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Appling Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Crossroads Christian Academy on the 10th.
