Basketball Recap: Wallace Takes a Loss

Wallace lost against Dundy County-Stratton on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wallace Wildcats might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 65-40 to the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dundy County-Stratton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lane Bybee out in front who went 8 of 15 en route to 18 points along with eight boards and three blocks. The matchup was Bybee's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Latta, who posted 15 points and seven rebounds.

Wallace's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Dundy County-Stratton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Wallace didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-50 defeat against Hitchcock County on the 31st. As for Dundy County-Stratton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 48-37 victory against Paxton on the 31st.
