Lincoln Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cicero Prep Academy Centurions. If the Lightning were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Centurions when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Lincoln Prep was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Cicero Prep Academy's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-23.

Lincoln Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cicero Prep Academy, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Lincoln Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Leading Edge Academy - GEC on the 11th. As for Cicero Prep Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against St. David on the 11th.
