Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orthopaedic). Everything went their way against the Animo Bunche Stallions on Thursday as they made off with a 21-6 victory. The Vipers haven't had any issues with the Stallions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Brianna Ramirez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 6-for-6 with one home run, eight stolen bases, and four runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Daniela Ceja, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 4-for-6.
