Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Murrieta Mesa's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Murrieta Mesa lost to Orange Lutheran back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Rams walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lancers.

Emerson Macias paced Murrieta Mesa's offense, picking up eight kills. Macias got some help from Analei Bradley and her 18 assists. Savannah White controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the loss, Orange Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Kenzie Houston, who had seven digs and three aces. Izabela Buber Meade also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Murrieta Mesa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3-2 record this season. As for Orange Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3.

Murrieta Mesa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Temescal Canyon on the 9th. As for Orange Lutheran, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against El Dorado on the 9th.
