Basketball Recap: Alta Loma Comes Up Short

Alta Loma lost against South Hills last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Alta Loma Braves fell to the South Hills Huskies 43-39. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Alta Loma saw an underclassman step up: freshman Britain Hall posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Finley Baird, who scored six points.

Alta Loma's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for South Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-12.

Alta Loma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-34 loss against San Dimas on the 29th. As for South Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-41 victory against Los Altos on the 29th.
