Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Petrolia). They put the hurt on the Seymour Panthers with a sharp 19-4 win on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Pirates, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Petrolia pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Seymour, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coming up, Petrolia is taking a road trip to take on Electra at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seymour, they will be playing at home against Olney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Olney has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.29 runs per game on average), something Seymour will no doubt try to take advantage of.
