Recap: Southlake Carroll Dragons vs. Boswell Pioneers
The Southlake Carroll Dragons had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They really took it to Boswell for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-0 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Southlake Carroll, who have now won ten matches by 25 points or more so far this season.
Southlake Carroll's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Graham Knowles, who threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelo Renda, who rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
Southlake Carroll's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.23 points. As for Boswell, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Southlake Carroll will take on Frenship at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Frenship has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 251 points over their last four games. Boswell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
