Softball Recap: West Oso Comes Up Short

West Oso was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Taft Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-4 back in March.

West Oso saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrianna Lopez-Tijerina, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI.

West Oso's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Taft, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season.

West Oso will take on George West at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Taft, they will face off against Odem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Greyhounds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Owls have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
