Softball Recap: Muhlenberg County Takes a Loss

Muhlenberg County was the 6-5 winner over Edmonson County when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Friday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Joshlynn Noe made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Pasynn Pentecost, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Muhlenberg County's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Edmonson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Muhlenberg County nor Edmonson County have any future games scheduled.
