Basketball Recap: Pearl River Central Gets the Win + How To Watch

Pearl River Central posted their closest victory since December 13, 2024 on Tuesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 70-69 win over Lakeshore.

Several Lakeshore players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cole Janssen, who posted 11 points and five steals. Janssen is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Conrad Pichon, who had 16 points and three steals.

Pearl River Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lakeshore, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Pearl River Central will challenge Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeshore, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 68-30 win against Franklinton on the 26th.
