Football Recap: Benbrook Bobcats vs. Eastern Hills Highlanders
Benbrook fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Eastern Hills on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 34-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Highlanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Benbrook lost, don't look at Waylin Barton. Despite the final result, he picked up 112 receiving yards and three TDs. Barton showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 51 yards. Deshawn Deane also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards.
