Basketball Recap: Langley Comes Up Short

Langley was the 63-50 winner over Washington-Liberty when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Saxons took a 61-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals on Monday. The Saxons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Langley's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Washington-Liberty, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Langley will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wakefield at 7:30 p.m. As for Washington-Liberty, they will square off against Herndon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Generals will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.38 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
