Football Game Recap: Blackstone-Millville/Hopedale vs. Burncoat

Blackstone-Millville/Hopedale were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their match against Burncoat on Saturday. Blackstone-Millville/Hopedale were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 24-28 to Burncoat. Blackstone-Millville/Hopedale were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Burncoat apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up.

Blackstone-Millville/Hopedale are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3. The win bumped Burncoat's record up to 2-1.

Next week Blackstone-Millville/Hopedale take on Holy Name Central Catholic at 2:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. As for Burncoat, they will face off against Sutton/Douglas. Sutton/Douglas took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Burncoat's good fortune.
