Basketball Recap: Addison Tanner's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Blackfoot over Mountain Home

Blackfoot and Mountain Home squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Blackfoot had to settle for second. They took a 40-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Home Tigers. The Broncos have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Several Broncos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addison Tanner, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave Tanner a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaci Capson, who posted ten points and five boards.

Blackfoot's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Mountain Home, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Blackfoot nor Mountain Home have any future games scheduled.
